My story behind my image is breaking the stereotype. I had my mom hold a picture of typical male/female stereotypes and tear it. I made a second version, keeping the background but making it black and white and letting the picture stand out more.
I really like the idea behind your photo and I think your idea is very clear. Personally, I like the photo with the background in it.
ReplyDeleteI like how you made the story in your photo very obvious, but at the same time it makes you look in detail and really think about the purpose of your idea. The black and white background also looks really good.
ReplyDeleteThe composition of this piece is interesting and conveys this idea very strongly. The focus was done well, and the contrast between the page and the background really brings that emphasis. The ripping of the page is the obvious subject, with the concept being behind that. I personally like the black background, isolating the picture and making you think more about the picture than the background. The concept of breaking gender stereotypes is strong and can be felt in this piece.
